Montana Casting Company was born on the river. An evening on the water, a trip into the backcountry, or an annual gathering for the fly fishing opener in southwestern Montana—each is an excuse to test and perfect our fly rods. Whether we’re working, fishing, or sharing stories around the campfire, we are all dedicated to bringing you an exceptional product.
Part of what calls us back again and again to the river is the beauty of the fish, the water, and the land around us. A special thanks to all our photographers who captured these moments and brought our website to life.
We took over a dozen seasoned veteran fly fishermen, added a few of their friends who are newer to fly fishing, and gave ALL of them our fly rods and reels to test in the field. From the Upper Missouri River to high mountain lakes near Ennis, these fly fishers put our gear to the test all over southwestern Montana. Here are a few of them in action.
