Pair Your Fly Line With:

Description

A compromise between the aggressiveness of some shorter weight-forward tapers and the long casting capabilities of lengthier tapers, this durable line allows you to fish for those heavy hitters in a wide variety of conditions. The MC-389 is a half-size heavy, with its entire taper in the first 38 ft of fly line weighing in at 306.5 grains. This allows for easy rod loading and a beautiful, classic cast—even when you’re throwing heavy, articulated streamers around.

Simple, loop-to-loop connection to your backing and leader is enabled through welded loops at either end of the line.
