Description

A happy medium between more aggressive weight forward lines and lengthier tapers meant for long casts, the MC-38 fly line is our go-to for light nymphs, dry flies and longer casts in medium waters.

This line is a half-size heavy; contained within the first 38 feet, the tapered head of this fly line has an extra 30 grains on your standard fly line to give it an extra punch of power. (Keep in mind that this is not reflected in the spec charts, which display the weight of the taper in grains and grams for the first 30ft of line.) You’ll have no problem loading your rod for a beautiful, classic cast. Features welded loops at both ends for easy attachment to backing and leader.
