Description

With 140 grains (9.0 grams) in the first 30ft, the 5wt MC-40 fly line adheres to AFFTA specifications—meaning this line was designed to ensure your fly rod casts picture perfect.

Fish mountain lakes for grayling or cast to a wily brown across the river: a 40ft weight-forward tapered head gives the MC-405 the necessary punch to carry a fly through windy conditions or over long distances while still allowing for delicate presentations.

Attach your backing and leader loop-to-loop using the welded loops at either end of this powerhouse line.
