From the beginning, Montana Casting Co. set out to bring you the most competitively priced, high-end fly rods and down-to-earth customer service in the industry, and 2024 has been an incredible year.

Our Core Team consists of husband-and-wife duo Scott and Cat Joyner who manage almost every aspect of our burgeoning fly rod company. Hannah Dreesbach and Savanna McNellis work behind the scenes to write the blogs, emails, and fulfill orders. We’re an energetic, creative business striving to produce the best fly fishing products on the market.

We couldn’t have done any of it without you.

There are bigger, older names out there in the fly fishing world - many of them great companies - but you chose to support Montana Casting Co. Whether you purchased our gear, followed us on social media, left us reviews, or shared your fly fishing stories, you're the reason we’re standing where we are today—and we’re incredibly grateful.

It’s been a great year at Montana Casting Co.

All of you who have ordered products from us, big or small, know that I always call to thank you for your order. I have enjoyed chatting with all of you and having the opportunity to share a few fishing stories as well! As you know, we spend a lot of time on the water. There is nothing better than running into customers using Montana Casting Co. gear on the river; that is an incredible experience for us.

Keep your eyes open; you never know when we might be coming around the bend, fly rod in hand and fish on our minds.

Hey there, everyone!

I am the co-owner and Chief Operating Officer here at Montana Casting Co. You probably know me best by my GoPro videos and underwater pictures – I’m usually the one filming!

This time of year is a wonderful time to reflect on the past year and things for which we are grateful. On my gratitude list are my husband and kids, the other people behind the scenes who have helped make Montana Casting Co. a success, our many friends/field testers who have helped Scott fine tune his blanks, and our beautiful state – its mountains, rivers, and plentiful trout. I am also grateful for all of you – our customers.

We strive to operate our company in a way that is true to Montana values, and we hope the warmth and welcoming ways of our great state come across through Montana Casting Co.

Hannah Dreesbach reflects on learning alongside Montana Casting Co... 

Hello there, folks! As the resident copy writer at Montana Casting Co., I'm responsible for stringing together all the words that show up on the website, the blog, and the emails. 

Growing up in Montana, I learned the basics of fly fishing early on. It wasn't until I started working for Montana Casting Co., however, that I truly dived into the world of fly fishing. The last few years have been a huge learning curve for me, both as a fly fisher and a professional, but it's been incredibly rewarding to watch this company grow (and spend more time on the river because of it). 

Looking forward to another year of fly fishing, writing, and learning from all of you.
