Though the carbon reel seat of the Dearborn is more saltwater resistant than the wood reel seats of the Craig and Warm Springs fly rods, any of our rods will work well for saltwater fly fishing. To avoid corrosion, you should always wash your fly fishing gear with fresh water after a hard day of fishing in the salt.
