The Dearborn is a fast-action fly rod designed for long, accurate casts with legacy quality finishes. The Warm Springs has a medium-fast action and performs well in salt.

Pair either one with the Envy 406 or Elite 406 fly fishing reels, both of which have sealed-disc drag systems that are designed to take on big fish and the corrosive saltwater environment.

These are saltwater fly rods ready for some big water action! Though the carbon fiber reel seat of the Dearborn is more saltwater resistant than the wood reel seat of the Warm Springs fly rod, the Warm Springs rod also works well for saltwater fly fishing. All of our fly rods can be fished in saltwater or freshwater. 

To avoid saltwater corrosion, you should always wash your fly fishing gear with fresh water after a hard day of fishing in the salt.
